The first time I met Tom, he seemed to be allergic to everyone. 【導學】the first time 在這里作連詞,引導時間狀語從句,意思:第一次 在英語中有些表時間的短語做連詞引導時間狀語從句,如 each time, every time , the first/last time, the moment, the minute, the day, the year, next time, by the time等。 【練習】漢譯英: 1.我第一次看見他時,就喜歡上他了。_________________________ 2.他每次來焦作,總是來看我。____________________________ 3.他被送到醫(yī)院時,幾乎快不行了。__________________________ 4.我上次見他時,他好多了。________________________________ 2. If necessary, look them up in a dictionary. 【導學】if necessary 是省略句式,全句為:if it is necessary 【拓展】在when ,while, until, unless, if, once(一旦) 等引導的狀語從句中,如果從句的主語和主句的主語相同且從句的謂語部分含動詞be時,或從句的主謂為it is時,可以省略從句的主語和動詞be. 【練習】漢譯英,用省略句式: 1. 如果有可能的話,盡自己最大的努力,獨立去做吧! __________________________________________________________ 2. 當我還是孩子時,我就會背3000首詩了。 __________________________________________________________ Step 2: 整體理解把握課文。 Fast- reading (B級) The main characters in the story are _____ and ______.
